Fwd: Crossroads on 12/21

All - below is the information I shared on Thursday about Crossroads on December 21.  The Young Marrieds are being asked to man the sugar cookie decorating table.

Please let me know if you'll be able to attend...Crossroads starts around 6:15 and the event should last a few hours.

Hey Leaders,

I hope you guys are doing well and are staying close to Jesus!
We have a great opportunity to reach out to families we have been meeting at the Stanton Center, and we need your groups to help!
On the 21st (at the Crossroads service) we may have up to 15 families joining us from Clay St. We are going to have a Christmas service with Carols and a short teaching from me.
We are going to shorten the service to throw a big after party for everyone there. We are going to order a ton of pizzas, drinks, etc...
It should be really fun regardless of how many families come from Clay St. to join us.

We also want to have a few activities going on for the families that may come out. We'll be showing "Kung-Fu" Panda in the Bay Café and while that is on, we'd like to have the rest of the room bumping with fun.

We are going to have:

Sugar Cookie Decorating
Wreath Making (craft Style)
Games (could use some stuff from mini-aud)

I'd like you guys to get your small groups behind an activity for the kids that night.

Here are my initial thoughts...

Young married groups — could help the kids do the sugar cookies (supplies provided, you'll just need to set up the stations, etc.)

Alfred & Steve's groups — could brainstorm a few games to play with the kids, in the gym (anything simple and fun you guys can think of would be sweet)

Josh W, and Adam's groups — could help the kids put together their craft wreaths

Josh K. -- your group can help set up and distribute the food and drinks.

Lauren can help coordinate or get stuff between now and then, but she won't be there the night of.

Also, if you guys want to spend any money for any ideas you have, we can reimburse you.

Could you guys rally your groups for the 21st, and let me know your thoughts?
